If you have information regarding suspicious or criminal activity and wish to remain anonymous, please call the Collin County Sheriff's Office Fugitive/Intelligence/Narcotics Tip Line at (972) 547-5117.

The Collin County Sheriff's Office mobile phone app is now available through iTunes and Google Play. It enables the public to send anonymous tips to the Sheriff's Office and lets us respond, creating a two way anonymous chat.

To submit an anonymous tip via text message to the Collin County Sheriff's Office, text CCSO and your tip to 847411 (tip411).
Be sure to save or record your tip ID. You can use the ID to login to view feedback about your tip from the Sheriff's Office. Just enter the ID on the tip submit page and any feedback about your tip will display. You can then submit additional information to the Sheriff's Office using the tip form.

The Collin County Alert Network is a free service provided by the CitizenObserver organization through "tip411" to enable persons to receive alerts from the Sheriff's Office via e-mail or as a text message to a cell phone.
Through this website, The Collin County Sheriff's Office will provide information to help maintain and improve community safety. You can also opt to receive surrounding city and community alerts that are on the CitizenObserver alert system.

- The Collin County Sheriff’s Office utilizes small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) to enhance public safety through aerial support. These systems are deployed to assist in a range of law enforcement operations, including search and rescue efforts, crash and crime scene documentation, aerial support in inaccessible or unsafe locations, warrant execution, and other law enforcement missions requiring real-time situational awareness.All drone operations are conducted in compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations and follow internal policies designed to ensure safety, transparency, and protection of individual privacy.State Reporting RequirementIn accordance with Texas Government Code § 423.008, law enforcement agencies in counties with a population over 150,000 are required to post a report during each odd-numbered year detailing drone usage.
