County buildings set to close Thursday
All Collin County government buildings will be closed Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, in anticipation of winter storms due to arrive tonight. A decision for Friday has yet to be made but will be posted on the county's website, www.collincountytx.gov.
Collin County Emergency Management and Public Works departments are working with the National Weather Service, the Texas Division of Emergency Management, local fire departments, and the American Red Cross to ensure open lines of communication and cooperation should emergency or relief efforts be needed.
Additionally, Collin County is coordinating with Oncor Electric, CoServ Electric, Grayson-Collin Electric Coop, Minuteman Disaster Response, and the Texas Baptist Men to increase emergency readiness and response capabilities.

- Roadways: Report dangerous or obstructed county roads to Collin County Public Works at (972) 548-3700. Report dangerous or obstructed city streets and bridges directly to the cities. The Texas Department of Transportation's Drive Texas will post road conditions across North Texas.
