To receive a cash bond back, you will need to obtain a cash bond release form signed by the Deputy Clerk at the County Court at Law Office.
For administrative purposes, a file is created in County Court at Law when a person is booked into Collin County Justice Center on a misdemeanor charge.

The defendant must appear in person before the Criminal Court Clerk for his/her assigned court.
The law does not require you to have an attorney present at your court date. If you can not afford an attorney you can apply for a court appointed attorney at your first court appearance. Court appointed attorney fees will be added to your court costs.

A mental health warrant allows a law enforcement agency to detain a person and take that person to a mental health hospital for an evaluation. It also allows the applicant to answer questions and state why that person is in need of mental health treatment.
The main information needed in order to obtain a mental health warrant is how the person in need of treatment has been a danger to themselves or others in the last 72 hours.
The mental commitments office is open 8:00 am - 4:30pm each business day.
Anyone over the age of 18 who has been in contact with the person in need of treatment within the last 72 hours.
